PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project is a 11,500 sf commercial interior fit out located in North Bethesda, MD. The design converts unoccupied commercial shell space into a two level child care facility and a 3,500 sf playground area. The facility provides care for 147 children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Children are the design basis for the project. The classroom plan incorporates food preparation stations and changing tables for infants, and child-scaled restroom facilities for older children. The design integrates child safety features derived from knowledge gained from other Bright Horizons facilities.
